New tools can be useful for database administrators and developers that need a high performance, easy-to-use, and reliable way to migrate a database from one format to another. There are versions for MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, Firebird, SAP SQL Anywhere, IBM DB2 and MaxDB.

Key product features:

  • Copying tables, indexes, and foreign keys.
  • Native support for most popular database servers.
  • Support for all other data sources accessible via ODBC / OLE DB.
  • Bulk data loading.
  • Flexible and customizable data type mappings.
  • Smart database integrity checker.

The version number for this release is 16.2 (the first figure in this numeration (16) stands for the year of the release (2016), while the second one (2) is to indicate the release month (February)).
