SQL Maestro Group is happy to announce the start of a new product family for database conversion and migration. New tools can be useful for database administrators and developers that need a high performance, easy-to-use, and reliable way to migrate a database from one format to another. There are versions for MySQL, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, Firebird, SAP SQL Anywhere, IBM DB2 and MaxDB.

Key product features:

  • Copying tables, indexes, and foreign keys.
  • Native support for most popular database servers.
  • Support for all other data sources accessible via ODBC / OLE DB.
  • Bulk data loading.
  • Flexible and customizable data type mappings.
  • Smart database integrity checker.
  • Command-line interface to automate the conversion.

The version number for this release is 16.2 (the first figure in this numeration (16) stands for the year of the release (2016), while the second one (2) is to indicate the release month (February)).

Upgrade policy (for Data Wizard users):

  • All users who purchased a license for a Data Wizard family member before Feb 10, 2015 with 1 year of maintenance or before Feb 10, 2013 with 3 year of maintenance will get the appropriate license of Database Converter for free of charge.
  • All other users of Data Wizard can get Database Converter with a 50% discount.
